Army Releases Climate Change Strategy

Communicates specific plans to address climate issues.

The U.S. Army published its first strategy to address climate change on Tuesday. The strategy outlines specific plans to guide the Army’s actions for the next few decades, which includes installing a microgrid on every one of their installations by 2030 and having an all-electric vehicle fleet by 2050.

“The time to address climate change is now. The effects of climate change have taken a toll on supply chains, damaged our infrastructure, and increased risks to Army Soldiers and families due to natural disasters and extreme weather,” stated Army Secretary Christine Wormuth.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for Secretary Wormuth as she heads the U.S. Army.
  • For army officials as they follow the president’s lead on addressing climate issues.
  • For the president to seek God’s direction as he implements policies on climate and the environment.
