USDA Invests $1 Million in Rural Communities

Infrastructure grants go toward funding community services.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced last Thursday the investment of $1 billion in infrastructure funding community development in rural communities. The department expects the 731 projects to increase access to public safety, health care, and education.

Deputy Secretary Jewel Bronaugh said, “These loans and grants will help rural communities invest in facilities and services that are vital to all communities, such as health care facilities, schools, libraries, and first responder vehicles and equipment. When we invest in essential services in rural America, we build opportunity and prosperity for the people who call rural communities home.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For officials of the USDA as infrastructure funding is awarded across the nation.
  • For Deputy Secretary Bronaugh as she fulfills her role in the USDA.
  • For the president’s administration to put the infrastructure funds to effective and beneficial use.
