CISA Offers ChemLock Security Program

No-cost program protects chemical facilities.

The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has implemented a no-cost program to enhance the protection of chemical facilities. The voluntary service provides assistance with drills, checklists, security exercises, assessments, and fact sheets to ensure better protection and enhance security. CISA’s Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) regulatory program has built plans to prevent the exploitation of chemicals by terrorists.

Dr. David Mussington, Executive Assistant Director for Infrastructure Security, stated “Chemlock is an innovative program designed to expand the reach of CISA’s collaborative model to a new set of chemical facility partners. The creativity of the approach promises great benefits for security, safety, and stakeholder awareness.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Dr. Mussington as he oversees the implementation of ChemLock.
  • For officials in charge of chemical facilities to utilize ChemLock for their protection.
  • For facilities to seek God’s wisdom as they enhance security
