Rachael Taylor will begin new role on November 15.

The Department of the Interior announced on Monday that Secretary Deb Haaland had named Rachael Taylor to be the agency’s new Chief of Staff beginning on November 15. Currently, Rachael Taylor is the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy Management and Budget. Larry Roberts, the current Chief of Staff, is leaving the Interior to serve as the Attorney General of a Federally Recognised Tribe.

Secretary Haaland commended the work of Rachael Taylor, saying, “Rachael’s expertise has been instrumental in advancing the Department’s goals while maintaining an exceptional level of interagency coordination. I am confident in Rachael’s leadership and excited to work with her as we continue to conserve our public lands and waters, honor our relationships with Tribes, and secure a clean energy future.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Haaland to seek God’s wisdom as she heads the Interior Department.
  • For Rachael Taylor as she begins her new role.
