Government Releases UFO Report

No evidence of extraterrestrial origin, report says.

The intelligence community and Department of Defense released a landmark report to Congress on Friday, examining “unidentified aerial phenomena” witnessed by U.S. military personnel over recent years. The report found no evidence that the unidentified flying objects are of extraterrestrial origin, but could not definitely determine what the military personnel saw.

Over the past two years, hundreds of incidents were reported, but the report offered very few explanations for what was observed. “The limited amount of high-quality reporting on unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) hampers our ability to draw firm conclusions about the nature or intent of UAP,” the report said.

It did, however, determine that the UAP were not the result of advanced U.S. government technology. “In a limited number of incidents, UAP reportedly appeared to exhibit unusual flight characteristics. These observations could be the result of sensor errors, spoofing, or observer misperception and require additional rigorous analysis. … Limited data and inconsistency in reporting are key challenges to evaluating UAP. No standardized reporting mechanism existed until the Navy established one in March 2019.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For U.S. agencies that deal with top secret and classified information.
  • For members of Congress as answers are requested and reports are evaluated.
  • For officials studying the phenomena and working on the sensors and training to capture necessary information.
