Spring Snowstorm Headed for New England

In Central Rockies and High Plains, snow also continues.

The National Weather Service said a strengthening storm system is moving offshore bringing heavy coastal rainfall, wind and inland snow to the Northeast and New England.

More than a foot of snow will be possible across interior New England, especially western Massachusetts into southern New Hampshire and Vermont, where winter storm warnings are in effect.

Spring snow also continues across the Central Rockies and High Plains where over a foot is likely to develop as temperatures drop Friday night.

Harsh weather will likely be seen along the northern Gulf Coast with repeated rounds of thunderstorms and heavy downpours leading to another day of flash flooding. Warnings remain in effect from Louisiana to the Florida-Alabama border.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For U.S. weather officials as they track severe or dangerous weather.
  • For people in the areas that are experiencing these spring storms and flooding.
  • For travelers on the highways to be aware of inclement weather and use caution.
