U.S. Moves to Improve Relations with Palestine

Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield announces monetary support.

On Thursday, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield announced that the U.S. Agency for International Development will be giving $15 million to the Catholic Relief Services, specifically to aid Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The agency hopes this will help Palestinians access proper care in the face of COVID-19, a significant change from the former administration’s actions toward the community.

“This urgent, necessary aid is one piece of our renewed commitment to the Palestinian people,” Envoy Thomas-Greenfield said. “The aid will help Palestinians in dire need, which will bring more stability and security to both Israelis and Palestinians alike.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Ambassador Thomas Greenfield in her task to stabilize global relations.
  • For President Biden to seek God’s wisdom as he creates the foreign policies of this administration.
