President Signs Immigration Executive Orders

Calls on Congress to pass path to citizenship.

President Biden signed another round of executive orders on Tuesday designed to return the nation’s federal immigration policies to their status prior to 2017. Tuesday’s actions bring the total number related to immigration policy to nine. The orders are designed to end Trump-era policies including family separations at the southern border and to conduct a full review of White House policy.

President Biden acknowledged the limitations of his office during the signing ceremony saying, “I’m not making new law. I’m eliminating bad policy.” President Biden has asked Congress to pass legislation that would provide a path to citizenship for the 11 million people presently undocumented within the United States.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That the policies of the White House would protect people from dangerous situations.
  • For the Lord to guide President Biden on the direction of federal policies.
  • That God would guide Congress to pass the most beneficial immigration policy for the nation.
