Wisconsin High Court Declines Trump Campaign Challenge

Sends case to lower court, does not rule on the merit of the evidence provided.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court voted this past week to decline to hear the lawsuit brought by the Trump campaign that challenges the election results in two counties. The decision made by the court did not weigh in on the validity of the evidence brought forward by the president’s lawyers but rather required the case to go through a lower court before being heard by the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

President Trump asked the Court to dismiss 221,000 ballots due to what were described as “irregularities.” One of the president’s attorneys, Jim Troupis, said that he would file the case in a lower court. He said, “It was clear from their writings that the court recognizes the seriousness of these issues, and we look forward to taking the next step.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would reveal the truth to all Americans.
  • For the Lord to give the president wisdom on the next steps to take.
  • That the Wisconsin Supreme Court would be led by the Lord in future decisions.
