President Donald Trump will remain at the White House today and meet with Vice President Mike Pence for a working lunch.

The president and vice president are likely to discuss the situation in the Middle East and how the U.S. should proceed after Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was killed in Absard, Tehran Province, late last week. This week Senior Advisor Jared Kushner will be traveling to Saudi Arabia to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and to Qatar to meet with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. Middle East envoys Avi Berkowitz and Brian Hook, and chief executive of the US International Development Finance Corporation, Adam Boehler are expected to accompany Kushner.

The past week, the State Department also announced additional sanctions against Chinese and Russian entities who support the Iranian missile program.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and vice president as they consider foreign and domestic concerns facing the nation.
  • For Senior Advisor Kushner and his delegation as they meet with Middle Eastern leaders.
  • For U.S. officials seeking to safeguard against the development of nuclear weapons by Iran.
  • For the Lord’s will to be accomplished through the efforts of the president’s administration.
