President Honors the Memory of Those Lost on 9/11

Calls for the country to be united in its purpose moving forward.

On the nineteenth anniversary of the terror attacks on September 11, 2001, President Trump traveled to Shanksville, Pennsylvania to honor the memory of Flight 93. The intent by hijackers to use the airliner in an attack on Washington, D.C. was thwarted by the passengers. “The heroes of Flight 93 are an everlasting reminder that no matter the danger, no matter the threat, no matter the odds, America will always rise up, stand tall, and fight back,” said President Trump.

During his remarks, the president reflected on the unity that Americans shared in the aftermath of the attacks. He said, “It was a unity based on love for our families, care for our neighbors, loyalty to our fellow citizens, pride in our great flag, gratitude for our police and first responders, faith in God and a refusal to bend our will to the depraved forces of violence, intimidation, oppression, and evil.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would help the nation heal from the effects of 9/11
  • For President Trump to be led by the Lord on how best to heal the nation
  • That Congress would work with the White House to bring lasting peace to our country.
