President Suggests Drug Tests Prior to Presidential Debates

Speculates that his opponent may be using performance-enhancing drugs.

This week, President Trump floated the idea of drug tests for both he and his political opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden, ahead of the upcoming September 29 presidential debate. The president stated that he believed a sudden marked improvement in VP Biden’s performance could only be tied to being on drugs.

President Trump called into question Democratic nominee Biden’s ability to perform in debates without the use of performance-enhancing drugs. He said, “We’re going to call for a drug test … I don’t know how he could have been so incompetent in his debate performances and then all of a sudden be OK against Bernie.” The president was referring to Mr. Biden’s debate against Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God works His will for the country through the American people as they vote in November.
  • For the Lord to lead the president to the best course of action for the nation heading into this election.
  • For both the president and former vice president to be given strength from above.
