HHS Secretary Holds China Responsible for COVID-19 Spread

American withdrawl from WHO continues.

While on a trip to Taiwan to discuss the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar said China is responsible for the worldwide spread of the disease. He said that China “had the chance to warn the world and work with the world on battling the virus. But they chose not to, and the costs of that choice mount higher every day.”

China has been censured many members of the Trump Administration due to the apparent inaccuracies of their reporting strategies. As a result of the World Health Organization not meeting the expectations of President Trump and Secretary Azar, the United States announced that it would be withdrawing from the international partnership.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the Lord to lead Secretary Azar on how best to improve the health of Americans.
  • That President Trump’s Administration succeed in bringing about an end to the pandemic as they work with other countries.
  • For President Trump to be given wisdom on how to deal with China.
