National Security Adviser Tests Positive for COVID-19

Will self-isolate until sickness passes.

The White House announced on Monday that National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien had tested positive for COVID-19. According to a statement from the White House, “He has mild symptoms and has been self-isolating and working from a secure location off-site.” The statement went on to assure the public that there is no risk of President Trump or VP Pence to have been exposed to the virus.

Mr. O’Brien is the highest-ranking official in the executive branch to come down with the disease that has claimed the lives of over 145,000 Americans. He is also responsible for regularly briefing the president on security matters and therefore was tested daily for the virus. Among his other roles, he is also a member of the coronavirus task force headed by Vice President Pence.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would bring healing to Mr. O’Brien.
  • For the Lord to keep the president and vice president safe from COVID-19.
  • For an end to the global pandemic.
