Friday, July 10

President Donald Trump will travel to Florida today. He will go first to the U.S. Southern Command in Doral. The president will speak at SOUTHCOM Enhanced Counternarcotics Operations.

The U.S. Southern Command is one 11 Unified Combatant Commands of the Department of Defense. Since April of this year, SOUTHCOM has supported President Trump’s national security objectives with enhanced counternarcotics operations in the Eastern Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea to disrupt transportation of the drug trade.

The president will then proceed to Iglesia Doral Jesus Worship Center where he will take part in a roundtable Supporting the People of Venezuela. The current Venezuelan regime has refused to recognize the will of the people or the election of opposition leaders. The population was suffering under hyperinflation, food and medicine shortages, violence, and outbreaks of disease even prior to the global pandemic. The U.S. is concerned with the extreme human rights violations that continue in that nation.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump as he visits the U.S. Southern Command.
  • For those serving in SOUTHCOM and the efforts they exert to stem the flow of drugs.
  • For the president to discover ways to assist the Venezuelan people as they endure severe living conditions.
