President Considering More Executive Actions

They would address China, manufacturing, and immigration.

According to Mark Meadows, the chief of staff for President Trump, the president is considering several executive orders, although few details were offered to reporters.

“It’s dealing with a number of executive orders that may go all the way from dealing with some of the immigration issues that we have before us, to some of the manufacturing and jobs issues that are before us, and ultimately dealing with China, in what we need to do there in terms of resetting that balance,” Meadows said. Prescription drug prices are another area under consideration for an executive order.

The White House is pushing forward with some of its top priorities after they have stalled or been rejected in Congress.

“We’re going to get them done when Congress couldn’t get them done,” Meadows said, adding that the orders will demonstrate “business that actually goes forward from the Oval Office when Congress doesn’t act.” He quipped, “So you just need to stay tuned.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
