Governor Cuomo Ends Daily Coronavirus Briefings

As the infection rates slow, New York tentatively relaxes.

Since the beginning of the New York outbreak in March, Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been giving daily press briefings to the people of New York and the people of the United States. Broadcasted on multiple national news networks, the entire country watched the hot spot handle its intense situation, often taking notes from the decisions the state made.

On Friday, as the number of COVID-19 cases in state finally began plateauing, Gov. Cuomo gave his final press briefing. He rejoiced at finally beating back the first wave, while warning of the “inevitable” second wave. “If we could accomplish together what we did here, this impossible task of beating back this deadly virus, then there is nothing that we can’t do,” Cuomo said.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For State Governors as they take a breath in this pandemic fight.
  • For federal scientists as they work rapidly to produce a vaccine.
  • That God would continue to preserve all Americans as they weather the pandemic crisis.
