New Broadcast Chief Lets Foreign Broadcasters Go

Recently confirmed leader of the U.S. Agency for Global Media releases several heads of networks

Earlier this week, Michael Pack, President Trump’s new pick to lead the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) made changes to the leadership structures of many of the country’s major media outlets including Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty; Radio Free Asia; and the Office of Cuba Broadcasting among others. These overhauls come two weeks after being confirmed by the Senate.

According to its mission statement, The USAGM “is a networked global media agency. The five media organizations that comprise the USAGM complement and reinforce one another in a shared mission vital to U.S. national interests: to inform, engage and connect people around the world in support of freedom and democracy.” Currently, Mr. Pack has not disclosed what the staffing changes will mean moving forward.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Mr. Pack to be used by God to help the spread of truth around the world.
  • For God to lead the president’s administration to the most beneficial ways to broadcast U.S. happenings.
  • That the USAGM would be a resource for those in need of up-to-date information in areas around the world.
