President Honors Soldiers on Memorial Day

Honors the hard work of American service members.

On Monday, President Trump traveled to Arlington National Cemetery to honor the nation’s fallen soldiers on Memorial Day. After attending a ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the president traveled to Baltimore’s Fort McHenry. During his remarks, he praised the thousands of current American service members who are on the front lines against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Together we will vanquish the virus and America will rise from this crisis to new and even greater heights. No obstacle, no challenge, and no threat is a match for the sheer determination of the American people,” said the president during his speech. “Never forget the sacrifices that these men and women made. Never, ever forget.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would keep the president safe on his travels.
  • For the Lord to lead the White House in how best to remember the work of fallen soldiers.
  • That God would help the various military branches protect and honor the people who work there.
