Members of Congress Affected by COVID-19

Over 50 lawmakers under self-quarantine in recent months.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to be combatted around the nation, members of Congress have also fought personal battles against the virus over the last months. The House and Senate have postponed bringing Congressmembers back to work until at least May in order to flatten the curve of the outbreak. Dozens of lawmakers have had to enter self-quarantine with some announcing that they were symptomatic.

In total, seven members of the House of Representatives and one Senator have tested positive for the virus. 38 members of the House and 8 members of the Senate have self-quarantined. Leading members of both houses of Congress have made it clear that strict measures will be put in place for the lawmakers’ upcoming return in May.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For God to protect the health of our lawmakers.
  • For the House and Senate to work together to pass laws that protect the nation’s health.
  • For an end to this pandemic.
