IRS Launches Registration Tool for COVID-19 Relief

Online form allows for non-income tax filers to get aid.

On Friday the IRS announced that it had completed its online tool for individuals to register for stimulus checks approved by Congress and the White House last month. The online form would allow people who aren’t required to file income tax to input their information in order to either get a check or direct deposit of aid sent to them. In general, the stimulus check is $1200 per person.

“People who don’t have a return filing obligation can use this tool to give us basic information so they can receive their Economic Impact Payments as soon as possible,” said IRS Commissioner Chuck Rettig. According to the IRS website, the tool will only take a couple of minutes to complete, and the IRS will determine eligibility once the form had been submitted.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would use the IRS to quickly provide needed financial aid to Americans.
  • For Congress to have wisdom on the best aid packages for the future.
  • That President Trump would successfully lead the country out of this pandemic.
