Easter Tornadoes Pummel the South

Storms travel eastward.

Tornadoes, hail, and flash flooding have killed at least 22 people and left 1.3 million without power as a massive Easter storm system pummeled the South.

The storm continued relentlessly, with severe thunderstorms capable of tornadoes, damaging wind gusts and flooding from southeast Georgia through the eastern Carolinas and into the mid-Atlantic vicinity.

Widespread power outages have been reported across Arkansas, Texas, Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi and Georgia.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For families and businesses suffering through the hit of the massive storms and for those who remain in the path of the storms.
  • For city, county and state officials already dealing with COVID-19 issues who now face the emergencies created by the tornadoes.
