Dr. Fauci Expects Lower Total Deaths than Predicted

60,000 total deaths from COVID-19 now anticipated.

During interviews on Wednesday, Dr. Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, weighed in on the efforts being taken around the nation to lessen the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to efforts to shelter in place and limit exposure, Dr. Fauci said that the president’s administration now expects 60,000 total deaths in the nation – fewer than the initial predictions of 100,000 to 240,000 deaths.

Dr. Fauci said, “We’re going to start to see the beginning of a turnaround, so we need to keep pushing on the mitigation strategies because there’s no doubt that that’s having a positive impact.” He went on to say that now is not the time to ease restrictions, but rather push hard to the finish line in order to limit the number of people infected by the disease.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would use Dr. Fauci to lead the Administration on the best course of action.
  • For President Trump to have wisdom on how to end the pandemic.
  • For God to heal those who are fighting COVID-19.
