House Passes Stimulus Legislation

Bill on its way to president’s desk for signing.

The House of Representatives passed the historic $2 trillion stimulus package that had passed the Senate earlier this week, overcoming last-minute drama by using an unusual procedural move to thwart a demand by a Kentucky lawmaker to force members to vote in person.

The bill now goes to President Donald Trump for his signature as the American public and the U.S. economy fight the devastating spread of COVID-1 and desperately need relief.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump, who has already said he would sign the bill as soon as he receives it.
  • For the out-of-work Americans who are eagerly awaiting the influx of funds to help stave off the impact of the coronavirus.
  • For the plans to be made and guidelines given for when America can “get back to work.”
