You Are an Influencer

Corinthians 10:15Our hope is that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be greatly enlarged.

Just as He did with the Apostle Paul, God has assigned an area of influence to you.  And as Paul said it of himself, it could be said of you, that as your faith increases, so does the area of your influence.

Not only has He given this sphere of influence to you, God has given you the authority to use it.

America is fighting a war on several fronts right now. The president and news media remind you that there is an invisible enemy: Indeed, there are two! While the war against the coronavirus is being waged with mobilization of people across the country to do their part, so does Jesus ask you to keep your armor on, and to contend for your faith (Jude 3) inside that area of influence He has given you.  Spiritual warfare is at every door.

Jude 20-23 says, “But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith, and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt. Save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others, show mercy with fear.”

Pray With Us

Mighty Father, You are strong to save. You have given to me a portion of faith. I pray that even today You increase that faith in me. I will do my part. I will spend more time in Your precious Word. Above all, I will commit to praying for those in my sphere of influence—even when social distancing prevents me from meeting with them in person. You have shown great mercy to me. Help me remember to show it to others, in Jesus Name and for His sake.

Amen.
