National Guard Deployed to New York State

Nation prepares to limit spread of disease

The National Guard was called into the New York City Suburb of New Rochelle in order to contain the spread of the coronavirus. Governor Chris Cuomo said that “It is a dramatic action, but it is the largest cluster of cases in the country. The numbers are going up unabated, and we do need a special public health strategy.”

Other areas of the country have also taken measures to stop the spread of the sickness. Seattle has banned the gathering of over 250 people and would be limiting visitors to nursing homes. Other states have also begun to put together plans to deal with the spread.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the residents of New Rochelle to be protected from harm.
  • That the efforts of state and national leaders would stop the spread of the sickness.
  • For President Trump to have wisdom on how best to respond to the coronavirus.
