President Trump Addresses Virus Concerns

CDC calls for an increase in funding

On Wednesday, President Trump addressed the press about concerns about the spread of the Corona Virus in the United States. To date, there are over 18,000 cases of the virus worldwide, characterized by fever and coughing. The U.S. has closed its borders to people who have been in China recently. There are now 60 confirmed cases in the U.S.

President Trump reassured the public saying, “This will end. You don’t want to see panic because there’s no reason to be panicked.” Health officials in the CDC have already spent over $105 million in response to the outbreak, and have requested the Congress allocate more funds in order to address the growing threat.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would give the president wisdom on how to address this health threat.
  • For the CDC to effectively protect the wellbeing of the American people.
  • That the American populous would be calm amid growing fears and turn in faith toward the Lord.
