President Trump Attends “Namaste Trump” Rally in India

Praises the leadership of Indian Prime Minister Modi

Over the weekend, President Trump arrived in India to share the vision of the future relationship between the U.S. and India to the citizens of the world’s largest democracy. During a rally called “Namaste Trump,” nearly 100,000 people attended to see both President Trump’s and Indian Prime Minister Modi’s speeches.

The President said during his remarks, “America loves India, America respects India, and America will always be faithful and loyal friends to the Indian people.” President Trump praised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership as well, calling him an “exceptional leader” who works tirelessly for India. President Trump will be returning from India following a state banquet in New Delhi on Tuesday.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That God would keep the first family safe as they travel.
  • For the U.S. and India to grow in their relationship as a result of this visit.
  • For President Trump to gain further insight for international relations on this trip.
