Will include meetings with top executives
President Trump is scheduled to visit India on February 24 and 25 for the first time since taking office. He will travel to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s home state and attend talks in New Delhi.
The political leaders are likely to discuss and possibly finalize a bilateral trade deal during the visit.
President Trump will also meet with executives of Indian companies who have business interests in the United States. Their discussions will probably focus on job creation and manufacturing in the U.S. The event is likely to also include executives of U.S. companies.
The president is “keen on acknowledging Indian companies while focusing on manufacturing in the United States,” a source said.
