PRAY FIRST FOCUS: AFGHANISTAN

U.S. troops officially completed the withdrawal from Afghanistan late August 30th. There is a continued need for prayer over the situation. We are continuing the special PRAY FIRST FOCUS to include prayer updates so that you can be kept informed to as you pray.

We must remain vigilant and Pray First over the U.S. citizen that remain and for Christians within the country as they face new challenges and persecution. Thank you for praying with us during this urgent time.

Pray now:

  • Pray for U.S. citizens that are still unable to leave and are looking for avenues to do so, that they might be protected and God provide miraculous opportunities for them to be rescued.
  • Pray for safety for missionaries and local believers who are under extreme persecution and in some cases being hunted for their beliefs.
  • Pray for the residents of the country who are being displaced, who are facing food shortages, for women being enslaved, for the families being torn apart.
  • Pray for doctors and those with medical experience in the country who are selflessly helping others, despite the dangers and now-broken healthcare options.
  • Pray for our leaders in the White House, in the Pentagon, and in Congress as their decisions continue to shape the future of the U.S. relationship with Afghanistan.

There is a continued need for prayer over the events taking place in Afghanistan, so we are adding a special PRAY FIRST FOCUS that will include prayer updates so that you can be kept informed to as you pray.

We must remain vigilant and Pray First over the safety of our troops and citizens, as well as decisions made by our leaders for this country. Thank you for praying with us during this urgent time.
