HUD to Host Innovative Housing Showcase on National Mall

The event will spotlight new building technologies and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) will host its annual Innovative Housing Showcase on the National Mall from September 6 through 10, featuring more than 25 exhibitors demonstrating advanced housing and construction technologies. The event, themed “The American Home Is the American Dream,” will present full-scale models of manufactured, 3D-printed, and modular homes created by companies nationwide. This year’s showcase is part of the America 250 Initiative, commemorating the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary.

“HUD is proud to champion public-private partnerships across the nation,” said Secretary Scott Turner. “This year’s Innovative Housing Showcase is historic. We look forward to welcoming thousands of attendees as they join us in celebrating American ingenuity, endurance, and free market innovation to see firsthand how Americans are making housing great again – all as part of the America 250 Initiative.”

The family-friendly event will include housing exhibits and expert-led panel discussions on the future of homebuilding. It is open to the public and expected to draw thousands of attendees. Panels may be attended in person or virtually, and registration details and information are available through the department’s website.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Turner to receive God’s guidance as he oversees the Innovative Housing Showcase on D.C.’s National Mall.
  • For HUD officials as they seek to support and promote housing construction in the U.S.
