EPA Proposes Repeal of Landmark Greenhouse Gas Policy

Proposal revokes a 2009 scientific “endangerment finding” report on the devastating impact of global warming.

During the week, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed a repeal of its landmark report, which previously determined that greenhouse gases and global warming pose a threat to the American people.

This 2009 report, dubbed the “endangerment finding” report, was the result of scientific data compiled after the 2007 Supreme Court case Massachusetts v. EPA. At the conclusion of that case, the Supreme Court ruled that the EPA would have the authority to regulate climate change if it compiled a report that confirms its danger to the public.

Lee Zeldin, the EPA administrator, gave the announcement, stating, “Repealing it will be the largest deregulatory action in the history of America.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • That the Trump administration leans on truth to guide the changes it makes to American policy.
  • For the EPA as it works to preserve and protect the lands that support the American people.
  • That the Lord offers President Trump wisdom as he lays out the agenda of the United States.
