The deputy secretary said, “Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country.”
The State Department announced that the U.S. visas for a British punk rap duo have been revoked after leading a chant at a concert in the United Kingdom that called for the death of members of the Israeli Defense Force, in addition to the usual “free Palestine“ and “from the river to the sea slogans.
Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau stated, “The State Department has revoked the U.S. visas for the members of the Bob Vylan band in light of their hateful tirade at Glastonbury, including leading the crowd in death chants. Foreigners who glorify violence and hatred are not welcome visitors to our country.”
He said ahead of the revocation, “As a reminder, under the Trump Administration, the U.S. government will not issue visas to any foreigner who supports terrorists.”
The group was scheduled for a 21-city tour that included Washington, D.C., New York, Philadelphia, and Boston.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Deputy Secretary Landau to be led by the Lord as he fulfills his role in the State Department.
- For wisdom for Secretary Rubio as he heads the State Department and fills in as acting head of other federal agencies.
