President Donald Trump is traveling to Iowa today to begin the three-day Fourth of July weekend.

President Trump stated, “I am thrilled to announce that I will be traveling to one of my favorite places in the World, beautiful Iowa, on Thursday, July 3rd, to kick off the very beginning of our exciting Celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary!”

He added, “This will be a very special event, honoring our Great Country, and our Brave Heroes who fought to keep us FREE.” The event will be held at the Iowa Fairgrounds in Des Moines.

Members of the House of Representatives are deliberating the Senate changes to the “Big, Beautiful Bill” they approved in May. Speaker Mike Johnson has affirmed the attempt to get the legislation passed by President Trump’s July 4 deadline.
