President Leaves G7 Summit Early to Monitor Israel-Iran War

He reiterates that Iran should have negotiated with the U.S.

President Donald Trump left the G7 summit after a dinner with other heads of state on Monday night, departing Alberta, Canada for Washington, D.C., prioritizing the conflict between Israel and Iran over the final day of meetings.

President Trump stated Monday evening, “Iran should have signed the ‘deal’ I told them to sign. What a shame, and waste of human life. Simply stated, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I said it over and over again! Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!“

President Trump also stated, “For those people who say they want peace—you can’t have peace if Iran has a nuclear weapon. So for all of those wonderful people who don’t want to do anything about Iran having a nuclear weapon—that’s not peace.”

The U.S. president reportedly met with national security advisers in the White House situation room on Tuesday.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For wisdom for President Trump and his advisers as they evaluate the situation in Iran.
  • For discernment for the president and defense officials as they offer support to Israel.
