Resolution Introduced Declaring June “Family Month”

Congressional group seeks to “uphold the foundation” upon which the United States was built.

Representative Mary Miller of Illinois has introduced a resolution to declare June “Family Month.” Representatives Michael Cloud of Texas, Harriet Hageman of Wyoming, Barry Moore of Alabama, Diana Harshbarger of Tennessee, Randy Weber of Texas, Troy Nehls of Texas, Mark Harris of North Carolina, and Michael Rulli of Ohio have co-sponsored the measure.

“The American family is under relentless attack from a radical leftist agenda that seeks to erase truth, redefine marriage, and confuse our children,” Congresswoman Miller said. “By recognizing June as Family Month, we reject the lie of ‘Pride’ and instead honor God’s timeless and perfect design. If we truly want to restore our nation, we must stand united to protect and uphold the foundation upon which it was built — the family.”

The resolution includes a quote from John Adams’ letter to the Massachusetts Militia in October 1798: ‘‘Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • With thanks to God for members of Congress seeking to uphold the morals and principles on which the U.S. was founded.
  • For the House as representatives consider the resolution declaring June “Family Month.”
