U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick is giving a keynote speech at the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) in Washington, D.C. President Donald Trump and India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been negotiating an agreement for $500 billion in bilateral trade.Secretary Lutnick will discuss efforts to strengthen the U.S.-India strategic and economic partnership.

Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany are set to participate in peace talks today in Istanbul. Russia proposed the date for continued negotiations after President Trump gave a two-week deadline for Russian President Putin to show he would truly like the war in Ukraine to end.

President Trump said, “We’re going to find out whether or not [President Putin is] tapping us along or not, and if he is, we’ll respond a little differently.”
