The illegal alien with cartel ties who led the fentanyl ring was arrested.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the conclusion of a coordinated takedown of fentanyl operations in five states this week, calling the operation the “largest fentanyl bust in our nation’s history.” The Drug Enforcement Administration carried out the raid with other law enforcement partners. An illegal alien with connections to the terrorist organization Sinaloa Cartel was arrested as head of the fentanyl ring.
“This was an incredible operation,” AG Bondi said. “It took months and months of work… to get this massive amount of drugs and guns off our streets.” She added that nearly three million pills labeled as oxycodone were laced with fentanyl.
The attorney general reported that the operation spanned across Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, and Utah, with 11.5 kilos of fentanyl powder, 35 kilos of methamphetamine, 7.5 kilos of cocaine, 4.5 kilos of heroin, and 49 rifles and pistols recovered by law enforcement. Alleged members of a Mexican gang were also arrested, but the attorney general said they would keep them in U.S. prisons rather than deport them.
“They need to serve their time in an American prison to keep them off the streets, who knows where they would go next,” Attorney General Bondi said. “They’re facing a substantial amount of time in prison, and there’s a very big risk, we all know, releasing someone, especially to Mexico.”
“More seizures are coming, more arrests are coming,” the attorney general pledged. “I guarantee you that.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Attorney General Bondi to be led by God as she heads the Justice Department.
- For Director Patel as he manages the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
- With gratitude to the Lord for the successful seizure of the fentanyl by government agents.
