Today, the House Committee on Rules, chaired by Representative Michael Burgess of Texas, is holding a business meeting.

The committee is considering 14 amendments to the Protect America’s Innovation and Economic Security from CCP (the Chinese Communist Party) Act.
The proposed amendments include the development of protections for the intellectual property of small businesses, requiring reports on space-related national security risks posed by the CCP, prohibiting funding of animal research in foreign labs of adversarial countries, and prohibiting patents to anyone under U.S. national security-related sanctions.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the chair and members of the House Rules Committee as they consider the amendments to this bill.
- For discernment for senators and representatives as they return to the Capitol to negotiate appropriations and other legislation after the month-long recess.
- For the president, vice president, and Cabinet secretaries to seek God’s direction in their policies..
