Today, President Donald Trump is traveling to Phoenix, Arizona. This will be the first flight he has taken since the federal pandemic mitigation guidelines were issued in March. The president will tour a Honeywell aerospace facility that transitioned to producing N95 masks last month.

President Trump has acknowledged several manufacturers, including Honeywell, who have shifted to making medical equipment, commenting that they “stepped up like nobody has ever seen before.”

White House spokesman Judd Deere reported that the president is making the trip to the Arizona plant “to highlight critical medical equipment production and the addition of 500 manufacturing jobs in the state.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For safety for the president as he resumes travel.
  • For discernment for state officials who guide the reopening of the nation.
  • For the virus to subside and the nation to heal on all levels.
