9/11 Families Push President to Declassify Documents

Ask President Biden to not attend 20-year anniversary ceremony without action.

Families of 9/11 victims were joined by survivors and first responders in formally issuing a statement requesting that President Biden not attend any related memorial ceremonies without declassifying documents related to Saudi Arabia’s involvement in the attacks. President Biden had promised to be more transparent about the attacks on the 2020 campaign trail, and those most affected by the attacks intend to hold him accountable.

“Twenty years later, there is simply no reason — unmerited claims of ‘national security’ or otherwise — to keep this information secret,” the group said in their statement. “We cannot in good faith, and with veneration to those lost, sick, and injured, welcome the president to our hallowed grounds until he fulfills his commitment.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Biden keep the pledge he made for transparency regarding the 9/11 tragedy.
  • For comfort for the families, survivors, and first responders who continue to mourn the loss due to the attacks 20 years ago.
