In the News…
House Speaker Mike Johnson responded after members of the House Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees expressed concerns regarding President Trump’s diesel deal with Russia.
Speaker Johnson said he “told the White House team that we need to talk about it” and “carefully consider the unintended consequences that may ensue from that.”
He continued that he realized President Trump “has two major objectives… every day he wants to keep America safe, and he wants to bring down the cost of living for every American.”
The House Speaker concluded, “[President Trump] thinks outside the box with creative ideas all the time, and he carefully evaluates those. So I think the right decision will be made here in the end.”
