Today we remember the three impacts that occurred 25 years ago—in New York, at the Pentagon, and in a field in Pennsylvania. We hold before the Lord those who were lost, and the families, friends, coworkers, first responders, classmates, neighbors, and congregations who still carry their names. These were sons and daughters, husbands and wives, parents and grandparents—Americans who were deeply loved. Their absence is still felt, and their lives are still cherished.

Father, I come to You today on behalf of this prayer team and a grieving nation. Uphold every family, friend, and fellow worker who has traveled to New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania to remember loved ones taken on this day. Keep them safe as they gather. Bind up what is still broken. Be near to the brokenhearted.
We also lift our President and those who lead this country. Give them wisdom as they seek yet more healing for our nation. Guide them toward peace, unity, and the blessing that comes from You alone.
Comfort those who still bear a lifetime of loss, and grant them Your peace in this memorial season.
