Vice President JD Vance is visiting a steel plant in his hometown of Middletown, Ohio, today.

The vice president will tour the Cleveland-Cliffs Middletown Works and address the plant workers. He will highlight the economic agenda of President Trump’s administration and the progress that has been made to strengthen domestic manufacturing.
Cleveland-Cliffs has proposed a major modernization project which is awaiting regulatory approval. The plant estimates that 1,500 jobs could be created by the project.
