The company is waiving fees through its Franchise Partner Program.
The Department of Veterans Affairs announced an agreement with Steak’n’Shake to make it easier for American veterans to become business owners. Under its Franchise Partner Program, the company will waive its franchise fee, promote awareness of VA healthcare and benefits, and prioritize the hiring of Veterans and VA beneficiaries for leadership positions.
“VA is all about helping those who have worn the uniform achieve the American Dream,” said VA Secretary Doug Collins. “This agreement with Steak ‘n Shake will make it easier for Veterans and their families to do just that.”
Veterans are among the finest leaders in our country, and this partnership is about translating our respect for them into real economic opportunity — both behind the counter and at the ownership level,” said Michael Boes, Chief MAHA Officer of Steak ‘n Shake.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Collins as he seeks to advance business and employment opportunities for veterans.
- For VA personnel as they provide healthcare and support for current and former U.S. military service members.
