The State Department announced that Patriot Passports will be issued beginning today to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States.

Applicants are required to schedule an in-person appointment at specific agency locations to receive a commemorative passport. Online applications will result in a standard U.S. passport.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced last week that changes would also be made to standard passports obtained through online applications. While they will not have the commemorative 250th anniversary features, the secretary described upgrades to the presentation and imagery, and QR codes will be included that link to recordings of key moments in American history, which will be replenished and updated.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Rubio as he oversees the actions and diplomatic efforts of the State Department.
  • For President Trump as he continues to promote the celebration of the United States’ 250th anniversary.
  • For the president and members of his administration as they prepare for the NATO Summit.
