Vigil 250 – A Closing Reflection
Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2
Thank you for walking through these 25 days of prayer with faithfulness, unity, and hope during America’s 250th anniversary. What we have shared together before the Lord has been sacred as day by day, we lifted up our nation, our leaders, our communities, and one another in prayer. We are grateful for every voice that joined, every moment set apart, and every heart that remained steadfast along the way. As this time of vigil comes to a close, we do so with thanksgiving for all God has stirred and with confidence that He is not finished. Looking ahead, we pray with hope for the next 250 years, asking the Lord to continue His work in us and in our nation for generations to come. May what was begun in prayer continue to bear fruit in faith, obedience, renewal, and faithful witness.
