The Farm Service Agency (FSA) announced that, beginning today, eligible landowners may begin to review and consider base increases on farms enrolled in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs.

“This is the first chance for adding base acres since 2002,” said FSA Administrator Bill Beam. “These base acre improvements will help strengthen the farm safety net for producers across the country and help them better manage risk by providing greater flexibility for operations that have expanded or diversified since the last time we revisited base allocations.”

President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts Act, also known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, made provisions for the update or increase in base acres through the end of August this year.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Administrator Beam as he facilitates the implementation of the agricultural coverage programs.
  • For Secretary Rollins as she oversees the USDA and its many agencies and programs.
  • For President Trump and members of his administration as they seek to support agricultural producers and strengthen the nation’s food supply.
