Today, Secretary of State Marco Rubio is meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq of Pakistan in Washington, D.C.
Secretary Rubio will discuss regional economic and security concerns with the foreign minister as well as strategies to strengthen the partnership between the United States and Pakistan.
Pakistan has been a key mediator in negotiating the ceasefire and a potential peace agreement between the U.S. and Iran.
