Following a security incident Saturday night at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, D.C., President Donald Trump and other attendees were safely evacuated, and one Secret Service agent was injured. The President was unharmed, and an investigation remains ongoing.

The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to consider the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026, known as the Farm Bill, this week. The five-year legislation was introduced in February and advanced out of the House Agriculture Committee last week.

The Supreme Court will be hearing oral arguments this week in cases that seek to clarify the parameters of geofence warrants for cell phone location data under the Fourth Amendment, whether the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act preempts a state law failure-to-warn where the Environmental Protection Agency has not required a warning, and determine when a generic prescription drug infringes on patented use under the Hatch-Waxman Act.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Speaker Mike Johnson to be led by God as he presides over the House of Representatives.
  • For Chief Justice John Roberts to seek the Lord’s wisdom as he heads the Supreme Court.
  • For discernment for President Trump as he assesses situations facing the U.S. and considers options to address them.
